FREELANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Freelance Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of [Insert Date], by and between:

1. Scope of Work
Contractor agrees to provide part-time freelance services remotely as a Finance Associate / Virtual Assistant, including but not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping and financial data entry

  • Invoicing, payment tracking, and expense reporting

  • Organizing digital folders and maintaining updated records

  • Scheduling, calendar management, and administrative support

  • Conducting research and offering general business assistance

2. Term
The term of this Agreement shall begin on [Start Date] and continue for an initial period of three (3) months, unless terminated earlier under Section 7. This Agreement may be extended upon mutual written agreement by both parties.

3. Work Hours & Availability
The Contractor will provide services for approximately 5 to 10 hours per week or as needed. Work schedule is flexible, with tasks to be completed in a timely and organized manner. Communication will occur via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meetings.

4. Compensation

5. Independent Contractor Status

6. Confidentiality
Contractor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, materials, financial data, and internal operations of LedgeWize, during and after the term of this Agreement.

7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice of at least seven (7) days. Compensation for work performed up to the termination date will be paid in full.

8. Intellectual Property
Any work product or materials created by the Contractor during the term of this Agreement shall be the property of LedgeWize. Contractor agrees to transfer all rights, title, and interest in such materials upon receipt of payment.

9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].
